Job summary

AMN Healthcare Leadership Solutions | B.E. Smith is seeking an Interim Manager, Case Management in Seattle to provide hands-on leadership for the Case Management Department.

You will oversee ~34 FTEs, focusing on staffing, onboarding, scheduling, timecard approvals and performance coaching to maintain operational continuity. You will partner with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care coordination, discharge planning, patient throughput, and resource utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active WA license (nursing) or compact license required.
• Union experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and day-to-day oversight for the Case Management Department.
• Lead ~34 FTEs including staffing, onboarding, scheduling, timecard approvals and performance management.
• Partner with nursing leadership, physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care coordination and discharge planning.
• Evaluate workflows to improve efficiency and support quality patient outcomes.
• Mentor staff, build relationships, establish accountability, and provide stability for the team.
