Qualifications

• Required Education and Experience: M.D. or D.O. 8 - 10 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Education and Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Travel Required: Occasional travel for professional development may be required.
• Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Licensed physician (M.D. or D.O.) or license-eligible in the District of Columbia with unrestricted license to practice.
• Board-certified in internal medicine, family practice, adolescent medicine, or pediatrics.
• Substantive professional experience in clinical management, quality improvement, and supervision.
• Demonstrated expertise developing and implementing evidence-based programs to support healthcare delivery.
• Significant experience with FERPA and HIPAA compliance as well as advocacy for student healthcare needs.

Responsibilities

• Administrative and Clinical Leadership: develop, implement, and evaluate Center's policies and procedures; oversee budgets and accreditation; ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Direct Patient Care: provide primary health care services; diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions; perform exams and procedures; promote health and wellness.
• Staff Management/Professional Development: recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff; encourage professional development.
• Consultation/Advocacy: coordinate campus medical response; serve as a resource to campus community; liaise with multiple departments.
• Other Duties: participate in committees and university events; oversee staff and operations; contribute to strategic planning.
