Job summary

OneAmerica is seeking an Interim Childcare Campaign Manager for July 2026 to February 2027 to cover staff on leave. This hybrid role works with a campaign consultant to advance childcare access in King County, focusing on immigrant and women-led organizing, leadership development, and community partnerships.

The position reports to the Chief of Staff and supports Best Starts for Kids levy renewal, building a durable network of volunteer leaders and advocates across Washington State.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in grassroots organizing, advocacy, or political campaigns
• Strong relationship-building across diverse communities
• Commitment to immigrant justice and equity

Responsibilities

• Base Building: retain and grow volunteer childcare leaders in King County and Washington State
• Campaign Management: coordinate staff teams and King County strategy
• State Level Advocacy: engage members for 2027 childcare agenda
• Attend meetings with lawmakers, coalitions, and partners to advance Best Starts for Kids levy renewal
• Organize events and turnout for campaigns and community meetings
