Position

INTERIM ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, HRIS
Location: REMOTE (must be in EST time zone and work 8-5 EST)
Duration: 6+ Months

Client won't be able to sponsor any visa.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

During the time of the ERP Implementation, the Interim Assistant Director, HRIS serves as the point of contact for the day-to-day operations of the HRIS function within Human Resources. The Assistant Director, with a consistent connection to the Director of HRIS, shall manage HR Information Systems and ensure that data pertaining to the workforce is meaningful and securely available. The Interim Assistant Director will have oversight of HRIS Operations, the HRIS Product team, and HRIS Analytics and Reporting during the time of the ERP Implementation, transitioning from PeopleSoft to Workday.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. B.A./B.S. preferably in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  2. Minimum 7 years of recent technology experience with HR Management/Information Systems.
  3. HRIS Implementation experience is required.
  4. 7+ years HRIS experience and creating high-performance project teams.
  5. 7+ years PeopleSoft HRMS system experience required.
  6. Extensive hands-on PeopleSoft experience. Experience with Oracle Fusion Goals and Performance is a plus.
  7. Experience with project management, business process management, online systems, including HR applications, and database management systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  1. Superior relationship-building skills and capability to thrive in a complex, highly-matrixed environment.
  2. Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  3. Ability to facilitate meetings related to information/data needs and translate those needs to others who develop the specifications that outline HRIS system requirements.
  4. Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills able to speak the detail but present in executive summary framework.
  5. Familiarity with information system capabilities and trends.
  6. Depth in understanding issues specific to faculty, including grant allocations, highly desired.
  7. Ability to handle stress of multiple requests, prioritize, communicate and remain calm through it all.
