Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Constituent Services Manager to coordinate local governments and regulatory agencies for a statewide non-congregate sheltering project in Florida.

The role focuses on mapping jurisdictional requirements, permit tracking, and effective intergovernmental relations to support timely project delivery across multiple Florida jurisdictions. This position is hybrid, with field and office responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in constituent services, government relations, public administration, permitting coordination, community engagement, emergency management, housing, or related role.
• Experience coordinating with municipalities, counties, regulatory agencies, utilities, or public-sector stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel within Florida as required.

Responsibilities

• Research and document local jurisdictional requirements applicable to non-congregate sheltering facilities and related project activities.
• Coordinate with municipalities, counties, utility providers, planning departments, building officials, and other agencies.
• Track status of permits, approvals, inspections, and utility connections.
• Develop summaries, briefing materials, and status reports for internal and client use.
• Support communications with elected officials, local government staff, community representatives, and property owners.
