Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly organized Constituent Services Manager to support a statewide non-congregate sheltering project in Florida. This role will act as a critical liaison among project leadership, local governments, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in constituent services, government relations, public administration, permitting coordination, community engagement, emergency management or related role.
• Experience or working knowledge of intergovernmental relations, public policy, regulatory coordination, or local government operations.
• Ability to research, interpret, organize, and communicate jurisdictional requirements.
• Experience coordinating with municipalities, counties, regulatory agencies, utilities, or other public-sector stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple jurisdictions, deadlines, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison among project leadership, local governments, regulatory agencies, community stakeholders, utilities, and partners.
• Ensure activities align with federal, state, and local requirements and support timely issue resolution.
• Develop summaries, matrices, briefing materials, status reports, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with municipalities, counties, utility providers, planning departments, and code enforcement.
• Track permits, approvals, inspections, and regulatory requirements across Florida jurisdictions.
• Support intergovernmental relations and policy coordination for sheltering and housing programs.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, commitments, decisions, and actions.
