Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of Islam and intercultural competency.
• Experience working with Muslim communities or interfaith groups.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the needs of the Kenyon Muslim Community.
• Manage Thomas House facilities to support Muslim life.
• Build a sense of community among diverse Muslim populations.
• Organize events to educate the campus about Muslim faith and traditions.
• Act as liaison between the Muslim community and college administrators.
• Coordinate observance of Muslim holidays, especially Ramadan.
• Attend Kenyon Interfaith Partnership meetings and encourage student participation.
• Collaborate with chaplains to plan and execute interfaith programs.
• Partner with departments (ODEI, CGE, Residential Life) to support students across identities.
