Job summary

Qualifications

• Current MIEMSS registration as an EMT and national NREMT certification.
• CPR – Basic Life Support (AHA or Red Cross) current.

• Demonstrates leadership in patient care situations.
• Maintains professional interaction with medical staff and public safety personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operates Emergency Vehicle within company guidelines while transporting patients.
• Responds to select medical non-emergencies and facilitates inter-facility transfers.
• Provides non-emergency medical care en route to hospital or between facilities.
• Performs basic life support procedures consistent with certification level.
• Co-signes patient care forms for completeness and maintains accurate documentation.
• Acts as team leader in patient care situations when required.
