Job summary

The Effron Center for the Study of America at Princeton University invites applications for the Anschutz Distinguished Fellowship for Fall 2027 or Spring 2028. Fellows will teach one interdisciplinary, three-credit undergraduate seminar for the Program in American Studies and hold weekly office hours for enrolled students.

Fellows will engage in the intellectual life of the Center, participate in campus events, and deliver one public lecture.

Qualifications

• Teaching ability with interdisciplinary emphasis across arts, humanities, social and natural sciences.
• Strong engagement with interdisciplinary seminar work and public lectures.
• Ability to design and deliver an undergraduate seminar (3 credits) for up to 15 students.

Responsibilities

• Teach one interdisciplinary, three credit-hour undergraduate seminar.
• Hold weekly office hours for enrolled students.
• Contribute to the Effron Center's intellectual life through events and activities.
• Deliver one public lecture during the appointment.
• Be in residence on campus with on-site presence two to three days per week.
