Job summary

CENTRAL MAINE POWER CO is seeking an Engineer - Interconnections (ALL LEVEL) to analyze DER interconnections and customer connections across multiple NY locations. You will develop distribution power flow models using CYME and coordinate with peers and external consultants.

The role requires deep knowledge of distribution planning criteria and the ability to mentor team members while applying IEEE and ANSI standards. Competitive salary plus relocation and sign-on benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BSEE Degree required; advanced degree and/or PE license desired.
• Advanced knowledge of electric distribution power systems and planning.
• Ability to mentor or lead a team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess complex DER distribution system interconnections at multiple voltage levels; document results and recommendations.
• Analyze and assess complex new customer connections and document findings.
• Develop distribution system power flow model for interconnection studies using CYME and planning guides.
