Job summary

This role operates within a unionized environment and reports through the Energy Delivery/Engineering framework. The position requires familiarity with tariffs, strong project coordination skills, and experience with infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• 1 year PG&E experience in project mgmt/controls/engineering; or 2 years non-PG&E experience.
• Strong familiarity with FERC and CPUC tariff documents.
• Ability to refer to tariff clauses to facilitate projects.
• Business computer skills: MS Office, ENOS, CC&B, ABS, SAP, DART, ECTS, GIS, Visio.

Responsibilities

• Interprets FERC and CPUC tariffs, rules and regulations.
• Develops, negotiates, coordinates and tenders interconnection agreements.
• Manages interconnection process from inquiry to settlement/first bill.
• Monitors interconnection milestones, dates, tasks and status.
• Communicates interconnection status to all stakeholders.
• Identifies and addresses project performance issues promptly.
• Ensures milestones are met and records are kept for quality assurance.
• Manage contracts and support clients; handle amendments if needed.
• Manage a portfolio of interconnection requests and contract obligations.
• Identify and communicate contractual issues to stakeholders.
• Maintain interconnection records and documentation for generators.
• Manage deposits and invoicing for engineering, procurement, construction.
• Review and assist in project settlements.
• Support risk assessments with Journey and Senior Interconnection Managers.
• Assist with internal controls design and implementation.
• Assess control operation levels under supervision.
• Assist with audits and data requests.
• Support corrective action programs and compliance repository.
• Develop standards, procedures and training for controls awareness.
• Responsible for execution of internal controls.
