Job summary

CFX Products seeks a dependable Intercompany Freight & Delivery Driver to move products, materials, and equipment between CFX facilities, customers, job sites, and suppliers. When not driving, you will support shop, warehouse, shipping, and production activities.

This role requires local, regional travel, including overnight trips, and may involve forklift operation and DOT hours-of-service compliance. This is a hands-on, dual-role position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving or delivery experience.
• Licensed to operate a 26-foot box truck with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT hours-of-service requirements.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 3 days for inter-state deliveries.
• Experience in manufacturing, building materials, or industrial distribution is a plus.
• Willingness to support shop and warehouse duties when not driving.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-owned 26-foot box trucks and authorized fleet vehicles.
• Transport finished goods, raw materials, equipment, and inventory between facilities and sites.
• Perform local, regional, and interstate deliveries, including trips between Georgia and Pennsylvania.
• Secure freight, verify shipments against packing lists, and obtain delivery confirmations.
• Assist with loading/unloading and support shipping, receiving, staging, and warehouse tasks as needed.
• Maintain driver logs, mileage, fuel records, and comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations.

CFX Products is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Intercompany Freight & Delivery Driver to transport products, materials, and equipment between CFX facilities, customers, job sites, and suppliers.This is a dual role position. When not driving, the employee will be expected to support shop, warehouse, shipping, and production activities as needed.The position requires local and regional travel, including overnight and multi-day trips of up to three days between our Georgia and Pennsylvania facilities.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESDriving & Delivery• Safely operate company-owned 26-foot box trucks and authorized fleet vehicles.• Transport finished goods, raw materials, equipment, and inventory.• Perform local, regional, and interstate deliveries, including regular travel between Georgia and Pennsylvania.• Secure freight properly and verify shipments against packing lists and shipping documents.• Obtain delivery confirmations and communicate delays or delivery issues promptly.• Assist with loading and unloading as required.DOT & Driver Compliance• Maintain accurate driver logs, mileage records, fuel records, and required transportation documentation.• Follow applicable DOT and FMCSA hours-of-service requirements.• Comply with all required weigh-station, inspection-station, and interstate commercial vehicle requirements.• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.• Report vehicle, safety, inspection, or compliance issues immediately.Shop & Warehouse SupportWhen not assigned to driving duties, the employee will be expected to:• Assist with shipping, receiving, staging, loading, and unloading.• Move and organize materials throughout the facility.• Support production and warehouse activities as assigned.• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment when properly trained.• Maintain clean and organized work areas.This is not exclusively a driving position. The employee is expected to remain productive and support shop operations when transportation work is not scheduled.Required to follow all company Safety Rules and Procedures.
