Job summary

Supply Network is seeking a delivery driver based in Richmond, VA, responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering finished goods to customer sites and shops. You will follow directions, ensure safe unloading, and secure signatures on delivery documents.

Roles may include operating a truck-mounted crane and performing routine vehicle inspections. Applicants should have a CDL license, forklift/Moffett experience, and prior flatbed driving exposure.

Qualifications

• CDL-A or CDL-B license required with crane/industrial truck certifications.
• Experience with Moffett (Piggyback) preferred.
• Flatbed truck driving experience required.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience in a similar role.
• Basic keypad/keyboard skills.
• RF technology used in barcode environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow maps or written directions to deliver to customer shop or jobsite.
• Unload cargo safely and obtain recipient signature on delivery documents.
• Operate boom crane or truck-mounted equipment if needed.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain driver logs.
• Be flexible for nights, weekends, or early-morning deliveries.
• Assist with staging and loading/unloading of pipes and materials as required.

DescriptionPosition may involve loading, securing and driving Company vehicles in accordance with all licensing and DOT regulations. Deliver finished goods for customer's installation process at jobsite or their shop.RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows maps or written directions to deliver to customer's shop or jobsiteUses good judgment in assessing jobsite conditions and safe unloadingObtains valid signature on all delivery documentsMay operate boom crane or other truck-mounted equipment if neededCompletes daily required truck inspectionCompletes driver logs as needed.Follows all DOT and licensing requirements as neededMust be flexible and available for nights, weekends or early morning deliveriesLift boxes of material to stage in desired containers for shipment.Operates available equipment to ready crates and boxes for loading process.Uses available equipment to load and unload pipe and material from flat bed and box type trailers.Follows all company policies and procedures.Handles additional tasks necessary to fulfill the needs of the company and the customer as deemed by the warehouse lead, fabrication manager, or branch operations manager.QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:CDL-A or CDL-B license, as well as equipment certifications (crane, industrial truck)Previous Moffett (Piggyback Mounted Forklift)Experience driving Flatbed TrucksMinimum of 6 months in a previous driving position.Basic keypad and/or keyboard skills.Prior experience with RF technology used in bar coding environment helpful.1 year working in a multitask environment while under time constraints.Basic arithmetic skills required using whole numbers and decimals.
