Job description

Overview

Seeking motivated individual with experience installing and servicing intercom paging systems in commercial and education environments. Technician will be responsible for the successful outcome of projects and oversee and train co‑workers. This position resides primarily in the field. Our HQ is in Williamsburg. Job sites are in Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond. We offer excellent compensation, benefits, and training.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years installing and troubleshooting paging analog and IP paging systems (Valcom is ideal but Bogen, Dukane or equivalent is required)
• Applicable industry trainings; familiarity with construction techniques
• Computer and networking experience
• Own basic industry tools
• Reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license
• Professional appearance with a friendly, responsive attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to learn and grow
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be versatile
• Ability to pass a background check and become DCJS licensed
• Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools while adhering to all safety protocols
• Must have applicable experience or demonstrate strong motivation to learn
