Job summary

Constellation Payment Processing seeks a Strategic Interchange Analyst to own interchange, routing, and cost optimization across the payments portfolio. You will leverage deep interchange knowledge with data analysis to drive cost reductions and portfolio improvements.

The role requires hands-on SQL and Python (or Java), experience with Visa/Mastercard rules, and the ability to present data-driven insights to technical and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payments, merchant acquiring, processing or related field.
• Deep knowledge of Visa/Mastercard interchange, network fees and rules.
• Strong understanding of payments ecosystem including PayFacs and processors.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for analysis and automation.
• Experience using AI tools to automate workflows and insights.

Responsibilities

• Own interchange qualification and network-cost performance across the portfolio.
• Monitor network changes, assess financial impact and update rules and cost tables.
• Analyze routing and transaction behavior to improve economics.
• Use SQL and other languages to reconcile large datasets.
• Build automated monitoring and reporting workflows using AI/Python/Java.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready insights and recommendations.
