Impact Life is seeking a credentialed Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Counselor to join our Social Prescribing team. The IOP Counselor provides comprehensive behavioral health treatment services to individuals participating in our Intensive Outpatient Program, with a focus on substance use and co‑occurring mental health disorders. This position provides evidence‑based individual, group, and family counseling and is responsible for assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic intervention, care coordination, clinical documentation, and supporting clients throughout their recovery.
This is a part‑time position of up to 18 hours per week. The anticipated regular schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, approximately 8:00 AM-1:00 PM. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) operates from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, with additional scheduled time before and after programming for preparation, documentation, and other position responsibilities. Because program schedules may occasionally be adjusted due to holidays, closures, or other operational needs, some flexibility in scheduled workdays may be required. For example, an IOP day may need to be moved to another weekday during a holiday week. Advance notice will be provided whenever practicable.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, active listening, critical thinking, and the ability to develop effective therapeutic relationships. This individual should be comfortable independently managing clinical responsibilities while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
