Beaufort County Council is seeking a qualified professional to provide evaluation, diagnosis, intervention and treatment services for patients with substance misuse or related conditions. The role includes intake, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and educational sessions.

You will collaborate with clients, families and clinical teams, perform crisis interventions, and ensure thorough documentation. A valid driver's license and ongoing professional development are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree with a license is preferred.
• Over two years and up to four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsabilités

• Conduct intake, screening, and assessment of factors related to substance misuse and substance use disorders; provide recommendations for evidence-based interventions and treatment.
• Collaborate with patient, family, stakeholders and treatment team to develop an individualized care plan.
• Conduct individual, family and group education, counseling and psychotherapy sessions.
• Provide crisis assessments and interventions, including emergency responses and referral decisions.
• Provide case management to address needs for medical services, mental health care, housing, employment, child care, and social supports.
• Prepare clinical documentation, reports, intake packets, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge plans, and related paperwork.
• Assist families and clients with supports through interpretive services.
• Attend trainings for knowledge of best practices and licensure requirements; participate in clinical supervision as required.
