Job summary

Alexander Youth Network is seeking an Intensive In-Home Lead in Greensboro, NC to oversee and deliver community-based behavioral health services for children and families. The role requires leadership of a care team and direct clinical work, including individual and family therapy.

The position emphasizes crisis intervention, on-call coverage, and ongoing supervision of skill-building and parent education within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Independent Practitioner or provisional license under a fully licensed clinician.
• Minimum one year of documented experience with child/adolescent mental health.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• LPC, LCSW, CCSW, LMFT; P-LCSW or Board-Eligible LPC/LMFT can lead teams with full licensure within 30 months.
• Completion of Intensive In-Home trainings and related instructional elements within 90 days.
• Valid NC or SC Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive behavioral and emotional services to children and families in a community-based model.
• Lead the team in delivering services and oversee the care of children with mental health diagnoses.
• Conduct individual and family therapy, supervise skill-building activities, and provide parenting education.
• Intervene during crises, provide on-call coverage, and monitor child symptoms.

What You’ll Do

• Provides intensive behavioral and emotional services to children and their families within a community-based model. Leads the team in providing such services and oversees the functioning of children with mental health diagnoses by conducting individual and family therapy, overseeing skill-building activities, providing parenting education, intervening during a crisis, providing on‑call coverage, and monitoring symptoms of the child.

Qualifications Education and Experience

• Must be a Licensed Independent Practitioneror have a provisional license and be working under a fully licensed clinician.
• One year of documented experience with the child/adolescent mental health population required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• LPC, LCSW, CCSW, LMFT; P-LCSW or “Board-Eligible” LPC or LMFT Qualified Professional can also be Team Leader, as long as they obtain full licensure within 30 months of date of hire.
• Completion of Intensive In-Home services trainings along with Person Centered Planning Instructional Elements within first 90 days of employment;
• Valid NC or SC Driver's license.
