The Intensive In-Community Clinician plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services directly within community settings. This position focuses on providing individualized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients experiencing acute or chronic mental health challenges, aiming to improve their overall well-being and functional outcomes. The clinician collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community resources to develop and implement personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each client. By working intensively in the community, the clinician ensures accessibility and continuity of care, reducing hospitalizations and promoting recovery in the least restrictive environment. Ultimately, this role contributes to enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable populations by fostering resilience, independence, and social integration.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
• Current licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing direct mental health services, preferably in community or outpatient settings.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Trauma-Informed Care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel within the community.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Training or certification in crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data reporting requirements.
• Bilingual abilities or cultural competency training relevant to the community served.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community-based organizations.
