Job summary

MultiCare Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Mental Health Therapist in Seattle, WA for a residential ICSRP setting. The role blends clinical counseling with hands-on case management, crisis intervention, and skill-building for long‑term recovery and community integration.

The position emphasizes a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, with a focus on reducing hospitalizations and improving client independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Washington ACCR credential must be applied for within 30 days of hire; employees may work while pending up to 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders, agency policies, and applicable regulations.
• Complete timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation, including progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and treatment updates.
• Conduct clinical assessments and provide therapeutic interventions based on clients' individual needs and treatment goals.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies to maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.
• Facilitate weekly therapeutic groups using evidence-based, recovery-oriented practices.
• Provide ongoing case management services, including care coordination, treatment planning, referrals, resource linkage, and client advocacy for an assigned caseload.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence, dignity, and recovery.
• Monitor clients' mental and physical health status, report significant changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure appropriate care.
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients through a trauma-informed, person-centered approach.
• Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, case managers, and community partners to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.
