Department: Intensive Care Unit

Status: Full Time, 3 x 12’s

Shift/Schedule: Night Shift, 6:45pm – 7:15am

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RN) play a pivotal role within Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. The ICU nurses care for both ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) patients on a 26-bed mixed acuity unit with 6 dedicated CVICU beds. Typical ratios are 1:1 for high acuity, 1:2 for general ICU, and 1:3 for IMC patients. Patients include MICU and CVICU cases. The ideal candidate has at least one year of ICU RN experience; two years preferred.

Baylor Scott & White Round Rock is a 101-bed Level II Trauma Center with Level IV Maternal Designation, offering a wide network of specialties and services. The hospital has achieved Magnet recognition for nursing excellence, reflecting our commitment to quality and professionalism.
