Facility: Baylor Scott & White Health Round Rock – Round Rock Medical Center (Level II)

Department: Intensive Care Unit

Status: Full Time, 3 x 12’s

Shift/Schedule: Night Shift, 6:45pm – 7:15am

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RN) play a pivotal role within Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. The ICU cares for both ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) patients on a 26-bed mixed acuity unit with 6 dedicated CVICU beds. Typical nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1 for high acuity patients, 1:2 for general ICU patients, and 1:3 for IMC patients. Patients include Medical ICU (MICU) and Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). The ideal candidate has at least one year of ICU RN experience; two years preferred.

Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Hospital is equipped with 101 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, and Level IV Maternal Designation. It offers a wide range of medical services across more than 40 specialties, supported by specialty clinics and a cancer center. The hospital has achieved Magnet recognition for nursing excellence, emphasizing professionalism, teamwork, and superior patient care. We are expanding, adding a NICU and growing departments such as Medical Surgical, Cath Lab, Pharmacy, and Laboratory.
