Maxim Healthcare Services in Fremont is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Aide to support individuals with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. You will provide one-to-one behavioral intervention and assist with daily activities, crisis management, and data collection under the Behavior Support Plan.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred
• Current in-person CPR/ First Aid certification for Adult & Children
• Updated TB test
• Must be at least 18 years of age
