The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for TWO full time Intelligence Specialists (GG-0132-13), to perform as Senior System Operators, working at the 352nd Cyberspace Operations Squadron (COS), Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, with duties at the National Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS), Honolulu, Hawaii.
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.
Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
Salary ($111,119 - $144,457) based on experience.
Relocation expenses may be paid.
This position may authorize up to 20% telework based on supervisor approval.
This position can close at any time.
In this position you will serve as a Senior System Operator and radio frequency subject matter expert for US Cyber Command's (USCYBERCOM) Cyber Mission Forces (CMF) operations against target networks of interest. Conducts advanced analysis of classified and open-source data to ensure target continuity, to profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain more target information. Produces formal and informal reports, briefings, and perspectives of the behavior of adversaries against target systems, technologies, operations, and missions to reflect accurate and timely information that provides the situational awareness necessary to combatant commanders to successfully plan and conduct future operations. The team employs all-source intelligence to identify, analyze, and report threats in support of USCYBERCOM Operations. Major duties and responsibilities are identified in response to USCYBERCOM and direction from other Combatant Commands.
