You will apply national policies, manage the Foreign Visitor Program, and provide expert guidance on disclosure protocols.
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is currently seeking candidates for a full-time Intelligence Specialist (Foreign Disclosure), GG-0132-13, located at the NORAD/USNORTHCOM (N&NC) Chief of Staff Office at Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO.
Salary Range: $109,000 – 142,000
Recruitment, Relocation, and Retention incentives may be available based on eligibility.
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.
Depending on the type of position you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
In this position, you will serve as a Foreign Disclosure Action Officer to determine what NORAD and USNORTHCOM classified military information (CMI) and controlled unclassified military information (CUMI) may be disclosed to foreign governments and international organizations. Applying national policy, public law, DoD Directives, and CJCS instructions to the operations of N&NC, a Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) also coordinates with other national agencies to disclose those agencies' CMI and CUMI to foreign governments for NORAD and USNORTHCOM operational purposes.
