Job summary

U.S. Pacific Fleet seeks an experienced intelligence professional to provide technical advice on complex analysis and intelligence production. You will plan, implement, and maintain databases for all-source materials supporting operational intelligence.

You will collect, analyze, interpret, and integrate information from multiple sources, coordinate with other agencies, and lead interagency forums as needed, ensuring accuracy of team products and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Specialized experience at GS-12 level or equivalently in the federal service or private/public sector.
  • Experience evaluating and integrating all-source intelligence and open-source information.

Job description

Duties
  • You will provide technical advice on a wide range of complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information.
  • You will plan, implement and maintain data bases for intelligence assignments related to process all-source material and the production of technical or operational intelligence.
  • You will collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and integrate complex information from multiple sources in accessing the relevance of developments.
  • You will maintain liaison with personnel in other intelligence agencies, laboratories, services, and allied foreign governments to discuss production requirements and provide information.
  • You will serve as Chairperson of working groups or committees at interagency and intra-agency forums and international conferences.
  • You will coordinate the work of the team, establish priorities, guide team members and be held responsible for accuracy and completeness of the team products.

  • You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
  • This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
  • This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Evaluate and integrate all-source intelligence and open-source information to produce/contribute to intelligence products in response to customer requirements;
  • Utilize acoustic intelligence (ACINT) discipline/focus area, its customer base and attendant requirements to make effective/innovative use of product line/vehicles available to satisfy customer requirements;
  • Identify, research, and provide resolution for intelligence gaps and interpret the collection requirements to resolve gaps.
