Peraton is seeking a Space Operations Planner to support a critical national security space mission. You will translate strategic objectives into operational outcomes within the Plans & Strategy Division, using JPP, JOPES, and APEX methodologies.
The ideal candidate has 9+ years in space operations, military planning, or related fields, with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. This on-site role is based at Fort Belvoir, VA, contingent on contract award.

As a Space Operations Planner supporting a critical national security space warfighting mission, you will contribute to planning efforts that help translate strategic objectives into operational outcomes. As a member of the Plans & Strategy Division, you will support Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Combatant Command (COCOM) planning activities that help protect and enhance mission-critical space capabilities.
In this role, you will assist in the development of plans, procedures, and operational products that support mission success across the space domain. You will help assess operational effectiveness, document lessons learned from exercises and real-world events, and support continuous improvement initiatives across planning, training, and mission assurance activities. Working alongside Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and interagency partners, you will gain valuable experience supporting contingency planning, mission integration, and effects-based operations in a dynamic national security environment.

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
