Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Denver branch seeks a self‑motivated Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Intelligence Officer (FRLEO) to provide basic police duties and maintain a safe environment by continually assessing and mitigating physical security risks. The FRLEO will support deployment of best practices and security system technologies.

Internal candidates target an October 2026 start; external candidates would begin in January 2027 with academy training.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of relevant security/law enforcement experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship required; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains automated systems to track individuals, groups, and security-related cases.
• Analyses data from multiple sources to assess risks and support operations.
• Identifies risk patterns and prepares management reports.
• Maintains Do Not Admit list and protects personnel and assets.
• Responds to disturbances and makes on-scene decisions requiring appropriate use of force.
