Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Denver branch, seeks a self‑motivated Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Intelligence Officer (FRLEO) to provide basic police duties and assess security risks across district locations.

Responsibilities include deploying security technologies, producing intelligence bulletins, and protecting people and assets. Occasional overtime, strict screenings, and onsite work in Denver or Kansas City are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant law enforcement experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old and a United States citizen.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to learn computer-based/MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develops automated systems to track individuals, groups, and security-related cases for district locations.
• Analyzes data from multiple sources to assess risks and support operations.
• Identifies risk patterns, creates threat assessments, and prepares reports for management.
• Builds relationships with law enforcement agencies and shares intelligence promptly.
• Maintains the Do Not Admit list and protects personnel, property, and operations.
• Responds to disturbances and emergencies, including potentially life‑threatening situations.
• Operates and monitors CCTV, access control, alarms, x-ray, detectors, and fire systems.
• Performs patrols, inspections, and may rotate to Canine Handler or FTO roles.
