Job summary

AEVEX Corp. in the Warrenton, VA area is seeking an Intelligence Technical Specialist to support declassification digitization, convert paper to image, and perform quality control and indexing of scanned documents.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with Poly, cross-over eligibility, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or on a team in a classified environment; candidates will be cross-trained to handle full digitization life-cycle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of work experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly and crossover eligible.
• Ability to lift cartons up to 35 pounds, as required.
• Previous scanning experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail with focus in QC and indexing.
• Proficient in digitizing all types of film to include microfilm, microfiche, aperture cards.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare files for digitization, arranging records in date order.
• Determine scanning devices based on document quality.
• Perform and monitor all scanning operations.
• Receive boxes, check in to database and track from start to finish.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate transportation; maintain inventory of equipment.
• Provide daily preventative maintenance of scanning equipment and verify image quality.
• Verify scanned pages with 100% quality checks and rescanning as needed.
• Deliver scanned pages electronically meeting targets and deadlines.
