What you will be doing

This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently pursuing a proposal and are seeking qualified candidates to include in our submission and identify candidates for future hiring needs on the program once awarded. For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Intelligence Analyst. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as an Intelligence Analyst.

Project Summary

AIS supports a Federal customer providing program and administrative support, analyzing fraud complaints, conducting proactive analysis of data, and providing specialized investigative support for criminal investigators conducting fraud and corruption investigations throughout the US.

This is a proposal-based position; employment is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intelligence analysis and production in support of investigations. Present methodology and findings in written reports and visualizations.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with case agents, fraud analytical groups, and task forces to identify fraud and corruption schemes affecting the organization.
  • Provide expertise in investigations by contributing to affidavits and subpoenas and by recommending possible investigative steps to obtain additional data.
  • Compile and analyze data sets, records, investigative files, complaint data and open-source intelligence data to develop actionable intelligence information for investigations.
  • Conduct analysis to build profiles and links to identify criminal offenses, suspects, and trends related to criminal schemes and patterns.
  • Review and analyze law enforcement, internal, financial, and procurement databases and conduct open-source searches to develop leads for new casework and support investigations and prosecutions.
  • Support requests for on-site analytical support.
  • Input researched and analyzed data into professional products including analytical summaries, graphs or charts, and PowerPoint presentations for law enforcement use and prosecutions.
Required For This Opportunity
  • Experience of at least 10 years as an Intelligence Analyst or equivalent in the federal government (a Master’s degree in a related field can substitute for experience).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the intelligence cycle, analytic tradecraft, and experience conducting research in government resources, commercial databases, and open-source information; ability to decipher the best dissemination method to fit operational needs and timelines.
  • Fully proficient in analytical and data visualization software, such as i2 Analyst’s Notebook, Pen-Link, and Tableau.
  • Active Secret clearance.
Nice To Have Skills
  • Master’s Degree is preferred, but not required.

At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $101,000-$152,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
