Job summary

BCS Search client seeks an experienced intellectual property litigation associate attorney for a nationally recognized patent litigation practice. Ideal candidates have about 2–6 years of substantive patent litigation experience at a large law firm or boutique IP firm and possess JD with strong academics.

Candidates should be admitted to practice in the state and, ideally, have USPTO registration. Position requires 3 days per week in-office in New York.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of substantive patent litigation experience at a large law firm or boutique IP firm.
• Experience in U.S. district courts; ITC and/or PTAB experience is a plus.
• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.
• Admission to practice in the office jurisdiction.
• USPTO registration is a plus.

Job description

A top client of BCS Search is seeking an experienced intellectual property litigation associate attorney for its nationally recognized patent litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have approximately 2–6 years of experience representing clients in complex patent disputes before U.S. district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and/or the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Preferences for this position comprise:

• Approximately 2–6 years of substantive patent litigation experience at a large law firm or a boutique intellectual property firm
• Experience handling matters in U.S. district courts; experience before the ITC and/or PTAB is a plus
• A JD from an accredited law school with strong academic performance
• Admission to practice in the office jurisdiction
• USPTO registration is a plus

The position is 3 days per week in office.

The compensation range for this position is $235,000 to $420,000.
