Job summary

Jobot seeks an Intellectual Property Associate in Chicago to join a leading law firm. The candidate must have a JD from an ABA-accredited school, be admitted to the Illinois bar, and hold an Engineering or Computer Science degree.

With 1–3 years of litigation experience preferred, including patent litigation exposure, you will work on complex IP disputes. This role requires onsite presence in Chicago at least 3 days/week, with remote work 1–2 days and a salary between $175,000 and $195,000 per

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to IL state bar.
• Engineering or Computer Science degree.
• 1–3 years of litigation experience, ideally involving complex commercial or intellectual property disputes.
• Prior exposure to substantive litigation work, including legal research and writing, discovery, and deposition preparation.
• Patent litigation experience is preferred; exposure to trademark or trade secret litigation is also valuable.
• Willingness to work onsite in Chicago at least 3 days per week.
