Job summary

A leading law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney focusing on Intellectual Property litigation in Riverside, California. This role offers a hybrid schedule and requires 3–7 years of litigation experience. Candidates must have strong advocacy skills and be admitted to practice law in California. Responsibilities

• Handle trademark, patent, copyright, and trade secret litigation in federal court.
• Provide IP-related advice and counseling to clients.
• Conduct document reviews and manage e-discovery.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue motions and appear in court hearings.
• Participate in arbitrations and trials.
• Prepare and prosecute trademark, copyright, and patent applications and respond to office actions.
• Assist with licensing transactions, general business, or employment litigation.

Skills

Associate Attorney – Intellectual Property Attorney | Top 200 AM Law Firm | Hybrid – Riverside, CA

Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Our client, a Top 200 AM Law firm, is seeking an Intellectual Property Attorney to join their growing Riverside office. The ideal candidate will work on a wide range of Intellectual Property litigation matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle trademark, patent, copyright, and trade secret litigation in federal court
• Provide IP-related advice and counseling to clients
• Conduct document reviews and manage e-discovery
• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Draft and argue motions and appear in court hearings
• Participate in arbitrations and trials
• Prepare and prosecute trademark, copyright, and patent applications and respond to office actions
• (Bonus) Assist with licensing transactions, general business, or employment litigation

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of overall litigation experience (with at least 2 years focused on IP litigation)
• Experience before the Trademark Office, Patent Office, or ITC is a plus
• Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Admission to practice law in the State of California is required

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $200,000 annually.
