Role Overview

We are seeking an Intellectual Property and Marketing Paralegal with experience in intellectual property and marketing law. This role will partner with our Commercial and Corporate Legal teams, reporting directly to the Global Intellectual Property and Marketing Specialist.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conducting trademark clearance searches, analyzing results, and providing summaries and recommendations globally.
2. Assisting with prosecution of trademark and patent filings, renewals, and compliance activities worldwide.
3. Supporting trademark enforcement and investigations, including infringement identification and evidence gathering.
4. Reviewing advertising promotions, sweepstakes rules, and marketing materials for legal compliance.
5. Ensuring marketing claims comply with laws and regulations, including FDA and FTC standards.
6. Providing legal support to various business units.
7. Implementing policies to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program.
• 4+ years supporting legal functions related to trademarks.
• Strong understanding of global intellectual property laws.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with both Intellectual Property and Marketing law.
• Global experience understanding policies across jurisdictions.

Compensation

Pay range: $59,200 - $74,000 annually.
