Job summary

BAE Systems Intelligence & Security division seeks an All-Source Analyst to join our team at Quantico, VA in support of a Marine Corps Intelligence Activity program. An active TS/SCI clearance is required to produce timely, actionable intelligence for multiple AORs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and produce intelligence products, estimates, and briefings per MCIA POA and KIQ.
  • Annually publish the required all-source analysis products as production dictates.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, and synthesize data across sources to assess developments.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant conferences and events.
  • Maintain contact with counterparts in other intelligence organizations to share information.
  • Identify intelligence gaps and submit collection requirements to fill them.
  • Research utilizing Open Source tools, techniques, methodologies, and software.
  • Deliver expertise to support new processes, procedures, and technologies.
  • Conduct all-source analysis on foreign military order of battle, structure, disposition, and missions; update data as needed.
  • Evaluate foreign military systems including air and coastal defense and missiles.
  • Evaluate operations and exercises to identify TTPs, doctrine, readiness, and logistics.
  • Assess foreign military movements, logistics, maintenance, and survivability tactics.
  • Project discovery and deployment of advanced technologies and their impact on USMC forces.
  • Assess information gaps, develop collection strategies, and provide feedback to collection officers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Middle East intelligence operations with SIPRNet/SCINet.
  • Produce written intelligence assessments and briefings for tactical to strategic consumers per ICD/MCIA standards.

Job description

BAE Systems Intelligence & Security division is seeking an All-SourceAnalyst to join our team in Quantico, VA in support of a Maritime effort for (MAGIC) Marine Corps Intelligence Activity Analysis, Geospatial Imagery, and Counterintelligence Support Services program.

The candidate will provide direct support toMCIA to provide situational awareness andintelligence production and analysis for numerous AORs. Candidate will conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

  • At least 5years of relevant experience with a portion of that experience being within the last 2 years.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive mission knowledge and skills related to All-Source Analysis.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Able to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced.
  • Able to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
  • Be able to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products.

Candidates will be expected to:

  • Conduct research, create intelligence products, create intelligence estimate assessments, and conduct intelligence briefings on request based on MCIA’s Program of Analysis (POA) and its Key Intelligence Questions (KIQ).
  • Annually publish/produce at least the minimum number of all-source analysis products (e.g., written and oral reports) as dictated by production requirements on assigned account.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and integrate complex data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments in his/her assigned subject matter and geographic area(s).
  • Attend, participate in, and contribute to relevant conferences and other events.
  • Maintain contact with counterparts in other intelligence organizations to keep abreast of current developments, to resolve problems to eliminate duplication, and to provide free flow of information on matters of intelligence interest.
  • Identify intelligence gaps, recommend and submit collection requirements to fill gaps.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and research utilizing Open Source tools, techniques, methodology and software.
  • Deliver subject matter expertise to support the development of new processes, procedures, and technologies.
  • Conduct all-source analysis to assess foreign military order of battle, organizational structure, unit disposition, and unit missions; and identify discrepancies with current data holdings and update/revise accordingly.
  • Conduct all-source analysis to evaluate foreign military systems to include, but not limited to, air defense, coastal defense, medium- and long-range ballistic missiles and their associated platforms and targeting systems.
  • Conduct all-source analysis to evaluate foreign military operations and exercises to identify tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), strategy, doctrine, readiness, and proficiency in employing various military capabilities and supporting activities including, but not limited to, survivability, denial and deception, Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4), targeting, and logistics.
  • Analyze foreign military forces, potential activities and assets to include, but not limited to, movements, logistics and maintenance, readiness, C4, defensive systems, and survivability tactics.
  • Conduct all-source methods to project the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and their potential impact on USMC forces.
  • Assess information gaps, develop collection strategies, compose collection requirements, and provide feedback to collection officers.
  • Possess knowledge of Middle East intelligence operations, functions and collaboration supported by SIPRNet and SCINet.
  • Produce and deliver written intelligence assessments and briefings to support consumers at the tactical, operational, and strategic level as assigned. Written products will meet Intelligence Community Standards (e.g., ICD 203, 206, 208) and MCIA standards and adhere to MCIA production and review processes.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5 Years of ALL SOURCE Experience and an active TS/SCI Clearance.
