The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas.

We’re on the lookout for passionate self‑starters who thrive in fast‑moving, collaborative, and innovative environments.

As an Integrity Specialist at Plains, you support the safe, reliable, and compliant execution of Plains’ Integrity Management Program for pipeline and facility assets. Working from the Houston Corporate Office and reporting to the Manager, Integrity, this position supports the Southwest and Gulf Coast Integrity teams through technical analysis, integrity software administration, documentation quality, vendor coordination, and preparation of audit-ready records.

The Integrity Specialist reviews integrity data, applies established procedures and program requirements, develops recommendations, and independently executes delegated integrity program activities within assigned authority. The role is intended to improve consistency, data discipline, and workflow execution across the regional integrity program.

Our successful candidate will be eligible for company benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision coverage and paid time off.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of Plains’ Integrity Management Program activities for assigned Southwest and Gulf Coast pipeline and facility assets.
  • Collect, review, analyze, and interpret integrity assessment, inspection, repair, and field-found anomaly data to identify gaps, trends, and required follow-up actions.
  • Conduct integrity reviews related to HCA analysis, assessment results, timed conditions, high-priority conditions, and preventive and mitigative activities, and develop recommendations consistent with established procedures.
  • Perform assigned integrity analysis and dig selection activities within delegated authority and in accordance with applicable program requirements.
  • Support inline inspection validation, closeout reporting, repair documentation, field result reconciliation, and communication of required information to integrity vendors.
  • Complete data integration, mapping, plotting, record validation, and integrity software updates necessary to support defensible integrity decisions.
  • Coordinate with Integrity Engineers, Operations, field personnel, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders to support consistent and timely execution of integrity activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve integrity workflows, reporting tools, data quality, and documentation practices across the regional integrity program.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, data, science, or related field required.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience supporting pipeline integrity, facility integrity, corrosion, operations, regulatory compliance, technical program administration, or related asset integrity activities preferred.
  • Working knowledge of integrity management principles, integrity assessment processes, repair processes, documentation requirements, and applicable regulatory or industry standards preferred.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical data, recognize trends, identify gaps, develop actionable recommendations, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, spreadsheets, databases, reporting tools, and integrity software; strong written communication, organization, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills required. Minimal travel may be required.
Employment Requirements
  • Cleared criminal history background check and satisfactory reference checks.
  • Compliance with the company’s Drug & Alcohol Policy, including pre-employment testing.
  • Valid state driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the company and its insurers.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of employment; this position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship.
