Job summary

Black Mesa Casino is seeking a friendly restaurant server to provide food service to guests, greet patrons, and deliver orders accurately in a fast-paced dining room. The role requires at least 6 months of food service experience, strong customer service, teamwork and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Six (6) months’ experience in food preparation in a restaurant, kitchen or dining area, or an equivalent education/experience.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Polite, friendly demeanor and ability to handle fast-paced service.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and set tables for seating; deliver food orders to guests.
Take and relay orders accurately and answer questions about the menu.
Clean and prepare tables for the next seating and assist with restaurant cleanup at shift end.
Announce daily specials and inform guests about recommendations.
Report equipment malfunctions and maintain clean, hygienic dining areas.
Observe guests to identify additional service opportunities and upsell where appropriate.
