Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an Intern, Integration/Test Engineering in Carlsbad, CA. You'll support setup, configuration, and documentation of test hardware and software systems, and help develop test plans and procedures.

Responsibilities include recording test results, supporting formal acceptance testing, presenting findings to customers, and assisting with FRB meetings as part of ongoing product verification.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Willingness to contribute to hardware/software test activities in a CA internship program.

Job Schedule:9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

• Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices
• Support design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures for testing and troubleshooting of components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems
• Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
• Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results
• Support formal systems acceptance testing activities
• Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers
• Support failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings

Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field at an accredited university.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, automated software test, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanical design and analysis
• Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification, software scripting and usage of automated testing frameworks and application

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $30.00 - $32.50. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
