Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Clifton, NJ is seeking an Intern in Integration/Test Engineering to support setup, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software under test, loading software onto devices, and contributing to test plans.

You will assist with testing procedures, requirements traceability, and reporting results; participate in formal system acceptance testing; and present strategies to customers. This internship offers exposure to defense tech and a structured 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with test automation and testing procedures preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Job Schedule:9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

• Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and softwaresystems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices

• Support design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures fortesting and troubleshooting ofcomponents, sub-assemblies, assemblies, andsystems

• Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, testreports, test flow, and test case design and implementation

• Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results

• Support formal systems acceptance testing activities

• Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers

• Support failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings

Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing aBachelor’sdegree, aMaster’sdegree, or a PhD inElectricalEngineering, Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, or other related fieldat an accredited university.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, automated softwaretest, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanicaldesign and analysis

• Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification, software scripting andusage of automated testing frameworks and application

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $32.50.
