Job summary

Nodak Insurance Company in Fargo, ND is seeking an Integrations Developer to design, build, and maintain web and mobile applications. Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Computer Programming.
• Minimum of five years of work experience in Web development, API/integration development, or Computer Programming/Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Web technologies, protocols, and tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) and API design/integration methods (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
• Experience integrating Web and API layers with DB2 for i and RPG/RPGLE-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test, and document Web applications and pages that integrate with backend IBM i systems.
• Design, build, and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and integration points between internal and external systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in Web apps, APIs, and integrations; perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to define integration requirements and data mappings.
• Enforce coding, security, and documentation standards for Web and API development.
• Ensure security of Web apps, APIs, and integration endpoints, including authentication and encryption.
• Monitor API/integration performance and implement enhancements for reliability.
• Develop and maintain mobile apps for iOS and Android, integrating with backend APIs.
