Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute scripts and unit tests for wireless systems, including satellite payloads and ground terminals.

The role requires identifying requirements, creating test plans, and applying strong programming and scripting skills to implement tests across software, firmware, and RF components, with domestic travel 3–6 weeks per year to provide onsite support.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply programming skills to implement test procedures.
• Experience with system test planning and test execution.
• Strong background in Python and Bash.
• Proficiency with the Linux operating system.
• Experience with test equipment automation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and learn new skills.
• C/C++ programming experience.
• Experience debugging issues in a system test environment.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, DSP, signal processing concepts.
• DevOps experience including CI/CD and Git.
• Understanding of RF systems and link budgets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute operational scripts and unit tests for wireless systems.
• Identify requirements, create test plans, and implement tests across software, firmware, and RF components.
• Troubleshoot system issues by analyzing architecture and root causes.
• Lead hands-on diagnosis during integration and testing with cross-team collaboration.
• Travel domestically 3–6 weeks per year to provide onsite support.
• Support testing and maintenance of test assets for satellite communications development.
