Job summary

SET Development is seeking a Satellite System Integration & Test (SEIT) Engineer for a Confidential Aerospace Client to support spacecraft verification, validation, and system integration.

The role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, test execution, and hardware/software integration, supporting satellite programs from requirements through formal validation. Hybrid or onsite work is program dependent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.
• 3+ years in aerospace systems, integration, or test engineering.
• Experience with verification, validation, or integration activities.
• Experience with test automation/scripting (TCL, Python, or similar).
• Familiarity with systems engineering processes and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into verification strategies, test plans, and procedures.
• Execute testing across Flatsat, HWIL, and SWIL environments.
• Develop automated test scripts (TCL, Python, or similar).
• Serve as Test Conductor for formal validation events.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and document results, anomalies, and closures.
• Support cross-functional integration and test execution.
