Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Integration Technician in the Greater San Jose Area to support engineering during development and pre-production hardware lifecycles, including building pre-production, qualification, and flight hardware. The role includes assisting with transitioning product lines from engineering to production and supporting AIT in setup and activation of production lines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in hardware integration and production support.
• Experience supporting engineering during development and pre-production phases of hardware lifecycles.
• Experience with tooling fabrication, factory automation projects, and general production improvement projects.
• Experience with maintenance of HITL, continuous integration, and qualification satellite hardware.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering during development and pre-production phases of hardware lifecycles, including building pre-production, qualification, and flight hardware.
• Assist with transitioning product lines from engineering development to full rate production.
• Support AIT in setup and activation of production lines and development and qualification of hardware test setups.
• Support rework and recovery efforts on non-conforming hardware production improvement projects.
• Build, repair, and rework structures and harnessing to support flight and development hardware and ground support equipment and development/qualification test assets.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience
• Experience supporting engineering during development and pre-production phases of hardware life cycles, including building pre-production, qualification, and flight hardware
• Experience supporting tooling fabrication, factory automation projects, and general production improvement projects
• Experience with maintenance of HITL, continuous integration, and qualification satellite hardware

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with CAD such as SolidWorks or similar software
• Experience with MES and ERP systems
• Experience working in a Class 10k (ISO 7) cleanroom
