Job summary

DecisionPoint Technologies is seeking an Integration Technician to prepare, configure, test, and stage hardware and software for deployment. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include installing and testing mobility and POS systems, assisting with order fulfillment, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure on-time delivery of staged equipment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with device integration and configuration software such as StageNow is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, configure, and repair mobility, POS, network, and computer hardware/software.
• Assist with order fulfillment including picking, staging, shipping, and validating orders.
• Perform network configuration, device setup, and QA testing for equipment.
• Collaborate with Mobility Engineers and Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of staged equipment.
• Identify process improvements to enhance staging efficiency and accuracy.
• Keep the facility organized and support general operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You'll Do

• Install, modify, configure, and perform minor repairs on mobility, POS, network, and other computer hardware and software systems.
• Assist with order fulfillment, including picking, staging, shipping, and validating orders.
• Perform network configuration, device setup, and quality assurance testing to ensure equipment and components function as expected.
• Work closely with Mobility Engineers and Project Managers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of staged equipment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the staging process.
• Assist with the general organization and upkeep of the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with device integration and configuration software, such as StageNow, preferred.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical, hardware, software, and network issues.
• High school diploma required; two-year technical college or technical training preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with project coordinators, managers, and team members.
• Ability to work effectively under normal work-related stress and in a fast-paced environment.

Environment and Normal Working Conditions

We currently have the following schedules available:

• 1 Position = M-F; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• 5 Positions = M-F; 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Position may require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on Company operations.

Physical Requirements

The position requires the physical ability to work in a warehouse environment, including prolonged standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and twisting. The employee must be able to frequently use hands and fingers for computer operation, hardware installation, device setup, testing, cable connections, and packaging.

The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance and safely push, pull, and move equipment and materials as required for staging, order fulfillment, shipping, and facility organization. The position also requires sufficient vision, hearing, and communication skills to inspect equipment, perform quality testing, read labels and screens, and communicate with coworkers.
