Job summary

Stark Tech in Canton, MA, is seeking a hands-on project manager for construction initiatives. You will oversee scope, budget, schedule, and staffing while coordinating with vendors and ensuring contracts are met.

Your experience in reviewing technical docs and monitoring progress will be essential in driving successful outcomes. You will also manage resources and costs across teams, collaborating with sales and engineering to define project scope and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in construction (engineering/architecture) or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years' progressive project management experience for construction projects.
  • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and coordinating detailed project phases; strong MS Office skills.
  • 10-hour OSHA Certification required.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and cost control experience.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in fast-paced environments.
  • Authorized to work in the US; ability to travel with a valid driver's license.

Compensation

The expected pay range for this position is $26.38-$39.37 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Stark Tech reasonably expects to pay within this range at the time of hire. Individual compensation is determined based on several factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.

Work Experience
  • Associate degree in a field related to construction (i.e., engineering, architecture) or equivalent related work experience required.
  • 2 years' of progressive experience in a role performing project management job functions for construction projects.
  • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and coordinating detailed project phases, along with strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • 10-hour OSHA certification required.
  • Primary project financial competence (budget, labor, costs, billings), forecasting (% complete, % billed), KPI's (financial, productivity, quality, culture), and reporting (progress, schedule).
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment are essential.
  • Must be authorized to work in US.
  • Ability to travel extensively with a valid Driver's License.
  • Government badge may be required for most sites, must be prepared to pass an extensive background check.
