We’re partnering with a large healthcare enterprise seeking a UKG Technical Applications Specialist to support and enhance their HCM ecosystem. This role focuses on hands-on integration development, working with UKG Pro or Dimensions, Boomi, and API-based systems, all while ensuring HIPAA compliance. You’ll join a collaborative applications team that values initiative and innovation, and you’ll be instrumental in shaping the way data flows across HR, payroll, scheduling, and clinical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration Support & Development

• Design and develop integrations between UKG systems (Pro or Dimensions) and third-party applications using Boomi and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing integration workflows to ensure accuracy, security, and performance.
• Support UKG application configurations, updates and enhancements.

Application Support & Data Tools

• Support UKG DataHub and Core Analytics to aid in reporting, dashboards, and data extraction needs.
• Troubleshoot UKG-related incidents and provide timely solutions in collaboration with internal IT and HR teams.
• Maintain documentation for integrations, workflows, and system configurations.
• Work closely with other engineers, business analysts, and HRIS stakeholders to understand functional requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
• Apply best practices in data security, particularly in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with UKG applications (Pro and/or Dimensions).
• Solid understanding of Boomi or similar integration platforms.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and basic scripting or data transformation logic.
• Exposure to HCM systems and processes such as payroll, timekeeping, or benefits.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements and handling of sensitive data.

Preferred:

• Experience working in healthcare or highly regulated industries.
• Exposure to UKG DataHub and Core Analytics.
• Familiarity with SQL or data reporting tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
