Job Description:

Responsibilities

Due to the continued growth of our Consulting practice, we are currently recruiting for a Healthcare IT Integration Manager to join our team. As a member of our team, you will also contribute to some of the most important activities in our firm which include operating and growing the business, serving the client, developing the best people, and shaping our culture.

  1. Lead functional and solution design aligning business objectives with technology implementation.
  2. Manage IT transformation projects in the healthcare provider industry which include clinical and business process changes and technology implementation over the entire lifecycle of a project.
  3. Develop, monitor, and manage the implementation plan, schedule, and budget to provide a complete picture of project progress at all times.
  4. Ensure daily activities undertaken on the project are in accordance with the approved project plan.
  5. Ensure that the project produces the required deliverables on time, and at the necessary level of quality.
  6. Ensure that all required resources are assigned to the project and clearly tasked.
  7. Manage assigned resources according to the defined scope of the project.
  8. Identify project risks and communicate appropriately with project stakeholders to avoid and mitigate potential issues.
  9. Act as the liaison among the executive committee members, stakeholders, and development team.
  10. Manage third-party vendor relationships to resource specific development needs.
  11. Build project approach and proposals for Healthcare IT Consulting team.
  12. Assist in the identification and pursuit of a systems integrator product development and Baker Tilly digital solution development opportunities.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field. Experience in lieu of a degree may be accepted.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years of related experience; previous related industry and consulting experience highly preferred.
  3. Experience with configuration management, integration, data conversion, SQL scripting, relational database design, report authoring, business rules development, analytical software development.
  4. Experience managing healthcare IT projects related to EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and/or Altera.
  5. Experience managing integration and interoperability projects in the healthcare provider industry.
  6. Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required.
  7. Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
  8. Ability to decompose scope into detailed activities and deliverables, then conduct work package handoff to delivery resources from Baker Tilly, client team, and third-party vendors.
  9. Project experience with full lifecycle application development (e.g. requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, deployment).
  10. Excellent project management skills with proven success leading projects, 3rd party vendors and clients.
  11. Ability to travel as needed and work outside of core business hours for client engagements.

For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $37.90 to $80.35. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
