Jobvite, Inc. is seeking an Integration Engineering Intern in Lincoln, NE. You will provide mechanical engineering support for product development and transition to production in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, proficiency in SolidWorks or Pro/Engineer, and strong English skills. You’ll work at least 16 hours per week with a flexible, on-site schedule.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Must read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or Pro/Engineer and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze engineering data.
  • Coordinate sample parts processing and shipment.
  • Assist in developing processes to produce parts in the manufacturing plant.
  • Compile process documentation for customer certification.
  • Design and analyze using SolidWorks or Pro/Engineer.
  • Support manufacturing trials and related experiments.
  • Contribute to safe handling and disposal of wastes.

Provide mechanical engineering assistance related to development and transition of products to production in a manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect and analyze engineering data.
  • Coordinate sample parts processing and shipment.
  • Assist in developing processes to produce parts through our manufacturing plant.
  • Compile documentation of processes for customer certification.
  • Design and analyze in Pro/Engineer or SolidWorks.
  • Design and conduct manufacturing tri als.
  • Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.
  • Environmental responsibility is our comm itment to our communities.
  • Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

Expected: Applicants must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
