Job summary
Carrier is seeking an Integration Engineer to lead Abound-related projects from onboarding to solution development and turnover. You will serve as the technical lead on project teams, working with customers and internal teams to implement enterprise software integrations for HVAC and building automation systems.
The ideal candidate has a strong software integration background, experience with BACnet, MQTT, SNMP, APIs, and scripting (JavaScript or C++).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, BIS, or Computer Engineering.
- 3+ years in HVAC systems and building automation.
- Experience with enterprise software integration, on-prem or cloud.
- Skills in network architecture, routers/switches, and protocols.
- Proficient with BACnet, MQTT, SNMP, and web services.
- API and webhook configuration; scripting in JavaScript or C++.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Carrier Abound and related systems.
- Lead project meetings and coordinate install/upgrade progress.
- Analyze customer sites and design integration solutions.
- Maintain proficiency with Carrier software and new releases.
- Map BACnet points to Abound platform.
